Krieg used to be a homebrew faction made by one of the White Dwarf editors using Steel Legion models that he kitbashed to have spiked helmets.
I still have the Issue with the guide on how to kitbash Krieg somewhere.

It's a wild take calling the Steel Legion a Glib Shitto faction. I think they actually predate the Death Korps in GW's catalogue as they used to have metal minis.

Thinking about the "Return to Armageddon" video, and besides the fact that the Steel Legion has been left to the wayside, another thing left a sour taste in my mouth.
