🌱 Sustainability in Action at the BioDT Final Event 🌍 Two weeks ago, the BioDT Final Event brought together the #biodiversity and #digitaltwin communities in Rome for a powerful exchange of science, insights, and collaboration. But beyond the content, the event also reflected a deeper commitment: sustainability in practice. Taking inspiration from Lavoisier’s Law of Conservation of Matter – “nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed” – our partner, @TrustITServices, helped design an event experience that minimised waste and maximised positive impact. 🌿 Locally sourced catering with compostable packaging 🌿 Leftover food shared with colleagues to avoid waste 🌿 No printed flyers – instead, plantable seed paper badges that grow into wildflowers 🌿 Eco-friendly, plantable giveaways replacing traditional merchandise Because an event that showcases climate resilience and biodiversity research should also walk the talk. In BioDT, sustainability goes beyond research. Read more: trust-itservices.com/news/nothing-l…

From lots of color to no color at all! Meet the Midnight Angelfish (Centropyge nox). Yes, it's a real fish, and it's common in shallow coral-rich areas of the western Pacific. I photographed this one in Batangas, Philippines. #ichthyology
