@0xglitchbyte One of the worst things that the whole AI coding thing has resulted in is idiots thinking lines of code is a good metric for productivity.

You did not become technical af You do not go from “I have no idea how to code” to “I shipped more than senior engineers!” in less than 6 months. You shipped code you do not understand creating an insurmountable amount of tech debt you cannot fix potentially introducing bugs and other issues you cannot find.

Holy moly: Sam Altman told Axios in a half-hour interview that AI superintelligence is so close, so mind-bending, so disruptive that America needs a new social contract. - It's on the scale of the Progressive Era in the early 1900s, and the New Deal during the Great Depression. - Altman warns: widespread job loss, cyberattacks, social upheaval, machines man can't control - "soon-to-be-released AI models could enable a world-shaking cyberattack this year. "I think that's totally possible," Altman said. "I suspect in the next year, we will see significant threats we have to mitigate from cyber."

@EastMidRailway The 10.39 is now also "delayed". What is going on? And what options do I have as this will mean ill be over an hour delayed. There must be some way you can help customers?

@EastMidRailway The departure board is now saying due to a fault on the train. Which one is it? And what should passengers waiting for this service do? I have EMR only tickets and heading to Peterborough from Oxford Road. Will the next service run on time (10.39)?

@WelshBluebird Good morning Marc, that service is currently delayed due to a passenger causing a disturbance onboard the train. As a result the service is currently delayed at Liverpool South Parkway. ^TM

@JosephAbdin Hospital guests do not need sugary drinks for health. A diabetic patient can be given orange juice or other juices on an interim basis to stabilize health.

@SeneddWaste If the other parties could club together and block reform that means reform wouldn't have won! To "win" you need a majority, or be able to form a majority with help from other parties, not just be the largest party.

When I was growing up, pubs would often be rammed until closing time (not so much during the week, but certainly at weekends). The bell for “last orders” would usually spark a rush to the bar. These days, even the most popular pubs seem to start emptying out around 8.00-9.00pm, including on Fridays and Saturdays. Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? Is there a reason for it?

@AnnetteCath @GrumpyOldGit5 You use way more than that. A bath is about 80 litres and a 5 min shower is around 40. So unless you dont shower or bath you are just lying.

@GrumpyOldGit5 I calculated a week for dishwasher, laundry, washing, baths, cleaning, drinking and cooking roughly just for me and came up with 50 litres a day on average.

@mtpennycook You literally said "end in its entirety". How can that not mean outright abolition?

We obviously do not mean outright abolition, which would be an incredibly disruptive, costly, and complex undertaking that would undoubtedly have a detrimental impact on enfranchised and RTM buildings.
