@jameso_12 @SamMcGuire90 The article still holds value to others who don’t follow every outlet but want a top down view of what’s going on with the club, and also for ad revenue, when margins for fan sites can be razor thin. (That last part is based on experience, not an endorsement of Anfield Watch)

@jameso_12 A headline change and a note saying “The original headline was altered in the wake of the unfortunate passing of Diogo Jota to avoid confusion” is the cleanest way to acknowledge the situation and be fully transparent until sites like NewsNow and Yahoo News can be updated.

@WhenImElmo2 It was removed because it looked fucking awful following the Jota news. It was published prior to that breaking this morning and was to do with the coaching changes yesterday. Asked NN to remove it but they take ages so the article was pulled.

@jameso_12 @SamMcGuire90 Having been in and around the sphere for a few years now, it is what it is. Aggregation sites give new journalists a chance to write editorials and covers stuff other outlets might not. Nobody likes writing clickbait titles, but it helps keep the lights on.
