@CryptumZetaXV Infinite took 6 years, it wasn’t rushed what is this revisionist history. What hurt it and what continues to hurt the studio is shitty management.

@xboxBG Obsidian is fine. Arcane SHOULD be fine. Compulsion…I thought they tried something good. Double fine did such a great game and then their most recent 2 were massive head scratchers. If any were to die I’d bet it’s double fine then compulsion. But I really hope they don’t.

@JezCorden Xbox App makes me dig to find the games ive installed on their app and showing me only most recently played also pisses me off. If I want to look at my Steam games Ill open Steam. If they think Ill choose them over Steam for all games then Ill figure out how to do the opposite

The Xbox PC app still has a ton of responsiveness issues. On Xbox Ally when it wakes from sleep / closes a game, sometimes takes several minutes to start becoming responsive again. On Xbox PC, sometimes when closing a game, it just decides that it's no longer going to detect inputs anymore. I'm not sure if there's something fundamentally flawed with the codebase or something but you never get these kinda issues on Steam. Steam is the bar Xbox PC needs to hit. I'm someone who does a ton of gaming on Xbox PC but it's impossible to recommend when Steam is literally sitting right there.

The idea of ​​a grappling hook is great for a game like Screamer, Burnout, etc. It can be a lot of fun. But in a game with such realistic graphics, licensed cars, even a recreation of Monaco, and so on, it just doesn't work for me as a petrolhead, sorry. It's not the mechanic itself, it's the lack of consistency with the rest of the game in my opinion.

Xbox's strategy so far under Asha seems to have been just cheap wins and chasing their tail. I'm not sure why they feel so inclined to talk so much and do interviews, but they should probably just stay silent until they have a plan in place. If people in the industry are confused about what they are doing, I can't imagine how confusing it is for a casual gamer.

@FuuTop1 Ive said for 4 years now that Xbox’s hands off approach is nice but not smart. Maybe if they allow studios to split off a minor bit of staff for personal projects while the majority focus on big AAA experiences it would make sense but as it has been, idk what theyre thinking.
