The #YerevanDialogue Young Fellows Programme came to a close with the certificate ceremony honoring this year’s participants after days of dialogue, learning, & exchange. Beyond the discussions & panels, the #YerevanDialogue Young Fellows Programme also offered a chance to experience Armenia’s cultural heritage & engage with the country beyond the Forum halls. Beginning my working visit to Armenia at the @YerevanDialogue 🇦🇲🇱🇻 Latvia is commited to practically supporting Armenia’s closer partnership with the EU. We must use the current momentum to implement meaningful reforms.

On the sidelines of the #YerevanDialogue had a substantive discussion w/ Secretary (CPV & OIA) of India’s MEA @ranganathan_sr on the dynamically developing 🇦🇲-🇮🇳 partnership, multilateral cooperation, and key regional & international developments.

⚡️Flashback to Day 1 of the Yerevan Dialogue hosted by FM of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan & marked by an inaugural session attended by PM of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of France Emmanuel Macron, and SG of CoE Alain Berset. Here ideas crossed borders, & dialogue shaped the agenda for a changing world. Had a pleasure to meet w/ Claude Gascon, interim CEO of @theGEF at @YerevanDialogue. Emphasized need to strengthen coop on environmental protection, climate action & sustainable development. Highlighted importance of successful #COP17 in advancing global bodiversity agenda.

Fruitful discussion w/ delegation from @KASonline, on sidelines of @YerevanDialogue. Exchanged on reg. developments & efforts to institutionalize peace established in South Caucasus. Briefed on “TRIPP” project & stressed its importance to transform region into logistic hub.

#YD2026 | Pleasure to meet w/ Acting SG of @UNCTAD Pedro Manuel Moreno & explore avenues of deepening cooperation between #Armenia & #UNCTAD. Briefed on efforts in lead-up to upcoming #COP17 to be held in 🇦🇲 & discussed possibility of joint initiatives in its framework.
