@ShellyLahey look i 100% understand why people don't like tyler and respect their opinions but i think hating him and not hating laurel is a little hypocritical 🫢 miss maam here was infiltrated in nevermore while planning vengeful genocide and using tyler for it (not to mention abusing him)

I've been gatekeeping this for far too long. Ditch the streams and 10-minute tip videos. Hop on 4-hour lectures on Northern Kentucky University Drawing Database channel and pirate 20th century art books. Oh and don't read Point Character Drawing by Taco, copy every drawing

@forweyler for how to find your style, i suggest you pick one or a handful images that you think you'd like to replicate and do just that, eventually you'll find out what styles you liked more and what you don't want to replicate, and form your own style. 4/5

As a follower of Christ, I don’t think episode 8 is mocking God or using Caine as a metaphor for Him at all. Although Caine refers to himself as god, it is because he is the ruler of that world. But the real God gives us free will, not childishly forcing us to worship him.

@StephanieG95180 tbh the people who say this need to learn to separate fiction from reality, but i think most of them are kids/teens so I can't really blame them. takes a while to develop that.

i’m thinking about making a thread about how much i love goose’s unpredictable writing and how it never feels cheap or for shock value. she makes logical writing decisions that you wouldn’t expect but also make for incredible moments and reveals

the problem with being an adult is that you can't just draw crazily and expect your art to naturally improve anymore. you actually have to start making conscious deliberate choices about what you want your art to look like and work towards that. terrible news for lazies like me
