I felt a little bad for hazem until I remembered that one time he spent a shitton of robux on ads for pls donate just for the purpose of having it fill every ad slot for a funny tweet and now i suddenly don’t care anymore

@Zackiify tbf yea, the ads were annoying and it stopped other games from getting their ads their either, but at the same time 90% of us had a ad blockers

Rich Roblox developers who make the sloppiest games and only care about CCU will tell you to “move on and evolve” when Roblox essentially kills all small games but the moment they become a target they start throwing tantrums on here because they actually have to make a good game

@SnowStorm_Z3 Website ads were removed in 2024, he had no reason to do this

@Zackiify that was before the day old roblox ads were removed, its like a tribute to old roblox ads that were banners on sides of screens, hes not an asshole for that

That being said I’ll still release The Deep End when that time comes even with the last few updates, hoping that it’s successful on release though as it would need to be 16+ first..

I’ve already accepted being a reject on this platform and that i most likely wont ever reach a huge enough audience but this just feels like an utter insult, but whatever 🤷‍♂️

It seems like all of my past Roblox games before Far From Land (But also including The Deep End demo) are gonna be locked to 16+ because they don't feed David Baszucki's belly enough, nothing I can do about it for now.. Sorry

@cheese160096 The Deep End will be on roblox of course, dunno why we would completely remake it when it’s close to being done

@_NayPC It's hard to switch to a new platform & new engine without years of practice, i'd have to leave an entire community i've built for a while too. I create stuff hoping the platform can appreciate more unique games than what's normal on the front page. Always wanted to switch tho

@Zackiify a curiosity: why do you choose to develop on Roblox instead of other platforms like Steam? don’t you think your work would be more valued on Steam? I want to better understand your point of view

We have given up on our project and let Roblox themselves work on it instead it seems
