Rockstar watching people argue over which console sold more GTA 6 while they're counting billions.
GTA 6 is going to sell an absurd amount on both platforms. The only thing getting crushed is everyone's wallet.

Microsoft has pushed back against reports claiming GTA 6 PS5 pre-orders are crushing Xbox, saying the data doesn’t show the full picture. “The data being cited does not reflect actual Xbox pre-order performance. It is based on a limited set of affiliate link activity, not real sales. GTA 6 has already set Xbox pre-order records, and we encourage people to wait for official sales data instead of drawing conclusions from incomplete information.” The original reports relied on affiliate link data suggesting PS5 pre-orders led Xbox by as much as 6:1 or 8:1. Microsoft says affiliate links cover only a small number of purchases and aren’t a reliable measure of total sales.
