@Biyo_lar I had my concerns about Wirtz and told my friend who is a Liverpool fan that he is better playing from the left half space with freedom. Liverpool played him as a 10, with some restriction of freedom. They set him up to fail.

@Biyo_lar Key passes are passes before a shot. 10s are better judged with this compared to 6s. You have ignored forward passes which he was miles ahead and progressive passing which Stiller was better for key passes. Well done

The data you showed this season showed their graphs as heavily balanced, despite Wharton playing in a clearly tougher league, in a lower positioned team that never has the ball. And still creating more key passes, very close progression too. I'm surprised you don't know that this data in a bigger team immediately shows clearly who's better.

@ZeeROGBA That said, you can still see They're very comparable even by Datambs flawed metrics with Wharton delivering more key passes from less progressive chance opportunities. Stuttgart averaged 58% possession. Palace averaged 44%.

@Biyo_lar If you talk about how his numbers translate to the premier league, I will agree there will be a reduction but saying Wharton is better than Stiller is a fallacy. Ugarte was not regarded at PSG, it was a wrong decision to start with. There are some players who have done well

Compare Ugarte and Him on datamb. Then you'd see it. And yes, I still do. Because Stiller when I watch the buLI has time for ages... There's 0 chance he succeeds in the PL for a team like United. None. You're failing to understand that league, team and competition are extremely important factors in player assessment. It's d same way they were plotting graphs for Gyokeres. Meanwhile, it was clear there was 0 chance of that reproduction in the PL. I've watched Stiller at least 30 times.

@Biyo_lar Let's use Datamb. It's not perfect but captures some defensive metrics compared to forward passing. You still think Wharton is a better progressive passer. Stiller did that while having a 88 percent pass completion. Wharton 80 percent.

@ZeeROGBA Also to add, teams they play matter. One is a top German team in a FAR weaker league, the other is in a lower team in a far stronger league.
