Got some new alpha from Mateo and decided to update my thesis on $BASEMATE.
The core thesis still holds: this isn’t some random meme agent coin. $BASEMATE is the native AI agent built straight into Base app group chats, turning every conversation into a programmable coordination + DeFi execution layer powered by Base MCP tooling.
The features I called out before are still absolutely printing:
• Grab any link from the Base App trading feed → paste it in group chat + tag Basemate → whole group gets instant token breakdown + one-click trade
• Deep Bankr integration so groups can launch tokens together
• Morpho/Moonwell yield, Uniswap/Aero swaps, Avantis perps, copy-trading, everything happens right inside the chat
@0xteo went from nothing to getting featured on the @base app homepage in literal days, sitting right next to @bankrbot. Every group that adds Basemate starts executing onchain together. Adoption → activity → revenue.
And just now Mateo dropped the latest cook, World Cup is here and Basemate is bringing The Beautiful Game straight into Base app group chats. Match cards + P2P Picks live inside the chats. Full feature launch coming soon 👀
But the real alpha he just slid in my DMs? The unannounced update that changes everything.
He’s cooking a brand new public metrics dashboard, first time any agent coin is gonna show live, transparent usage data straight from the Base app group chats. Total users, token launches, clicks, button actions and even revenue… the whole flywheel in public.
Right now it’s still under development, but soon enough it will be public for everyone to see for themselves.
@0xteo and his team are building like maniacs, dropping new features every single day.
Token utility is coming really soon and once it lands, the real value accrual begins.
In my opinion, $BASEMATE at current levels is still criminally undervalued.
Violent repricing coming.
