A long drought is over for the Radnor boys high school basketball team. Radnor wins its 8th District-1 championship and 1st since 1961 after beating Unionville Saturday, 61-36 in the D-1, 5A title tilt at the Liacouras Center in North Philadelphia. Looking back at 1961 team:

Radnor holds for the final minute and it pays off. Thornton to Mueller for 3 and @radnorbball takes a 34-21 lead into the half. That’s a 19-0 run to close the half for Radnor.
