#DDay80: When I visited Normandy for the first time in 1979 with my Dad we met Major John Howard DSO outside the Gondrée Café. By this time 80 years ago he and his men had taken the key bridges and the code words Ham & Jam signalling their capture filled the radio network.

Over the past 2 years, residents in #Wandsworth have seen a continuous decline in fundamental services under the Labour-led council @wandbc. These dangerous potholes in #Balham have been reported several times over the past 8 weeks and still not repaired.

This is significant. The change in vote share from 2021 Mayoral Election is: CON 45% (+10) LAB 38% (-1) LIB 10% (+5) Green 7% (-2) OTH 0 (-12) 5.5% swing from LAB to CON. If repeated across Greater London, Sadiq Khan would lose to Susan Hall. London will be a nail biter.
