It’s also not stupid to take money you can’t pay back if your only other option is to starve, lose housing, lights cut off, etc. The whole point OP is making is they are preying on POOR people.

@_SiiCeeC Sometimes those fees are in the terms. But if you don't fully understand what you are reading you sign your rights away to challenge those fees. And therefore going back and forth is a waste of time because you signed the contract.

@_SiiCeeC @TaylorMieSean The reason they’re predatory is because they give credit to ppl who don’t have the income or payment history (good credit) with a 30% APR- thus trapping you in debt. Same thing as amscot. Designed to keep the poor, poor.

@AkinaWalker If you had unauthorized fees why didn’t you challenge it? It’s a federally regulated lender. I’m just not seeing how they are the issue.

@_SiiCeeC @TaylorMieSean They are horrible. I got a card from them when I was first building my credit years ago. I had so many fees, I didn’t know what they were coming from. I paid off my debt and closed the card. I opened up a card with Capital one and I love it. And you get perks.

@3fr3aky well i do have a life outside of the internet. But im seeing what everyone is saying. People don’t read and ultimately all credit lenders are predatory so im still just as baffled that people act like they have been set up.
