@RakeLambDodger@RaccoonOfAltSt@ma1ybe Assault isn’t looking it’s physical contact so your first point doesn’t stand. And people can revoke consent how is that a hard concept to grasp?
@_beepbopp@RaccoonOfAltSt@ma1ybe "they looked at me and i felt assaulted"
To "i consented in the moment and now regret it"
That in itself is a major discrepancy and we literally have cases of this occurring so dont even deny it
@_beepbopp@RaccoonOfAltSt@ma1ybe Because the term rape / sexual assault is so loosely described, and left up to the person claiming they were sexually assaulted / raped.
It could mean anything from the felt uncomfortable to full on penetration.
Every country has a different description of it
@RaccoonOfAltSt@ma1ybe If it’s really 0.001% as you claim, then how come statistically 1 in 5 women have been raped and 1 in 3 have been sexually assaulted? How come statistically 93% of the perpetrators are male? And mind you, SA is a highly underreported crime so the number is likely to be higher
