@_cyber_bee I believe its not a scam. Im in networking and with cisco the certificate especially ccnp gets you new topics like AI that you can use to better your infrastructure. Its just telling the industry your up to date with the technology the vendor provides.

to be fair, certain certifications need to expire, specifically those in software and financial systems BUT people do need to see the value of them. they're so useful and applicable to other systems that haven't changed
