The biggest thing separating Junior Engineers from Senior Engineers is time. There are no boot camps, classes, certifications or anything else that can replace doing shit for 10, 15, 20 or in my case, 25 years. You just gotta stay down til you come up!

Been on a journey these last few months. Got out the Navy in pursuit of an IT career. Got A+, Network+ and Security+ and thought I’d get a job ASAP. The trap been dry. Never had to interview in my adult life. But after 70+ applications and 3 interviews, I’m in IT Helpdesk.
