AO3 is not social media, it's a library. Fanfic is not content, it's a hobby. Fic writers are not published authors who should stay out of fan spaces. They ARE fans. Fic readers are not clients or customers, they're fellow fans. The sooner people realise all that, the better.

im gonna be very blunt here but if you let fiction affect YOUR reality then it's a you problem that you need to work on. it's not the creators fault. stop dragging people for something they're not responsible for. depiction isn't endorsement, this is literally media literacy 101

I really find it worrisome that this generation is not only incapable of separating fiction from reality, that they insert themselves into every fictional setting and make it everyone else's problem if it does something taboo or problematic.
