@FairerEduNSW What a fantastic idea. No more camps, excursions, weekend PL, carnival set ups and pack ups, evening parent and community events. And a pay rise 👍
We are a diary/vegetable agricultural community but are excited to explore other agricultural community soil care practices #soilyourundies@CottonInfoAust#PrimarySTEMChat at Harvey PS.
@rachaellehr Trialing multi-purpose STEM boards to stimulate S’s engagement through discovery. #PrimarySTEMChat Boards can be used horizontal or vertical. 6mm holes for plugs or dowel. How many machines can be created? I’m using mirco-bits as well!
@teacherasleader#QandA Helping a remote year12 student with limited internet access. The S is a G&T S and is keeping on track with all submissions required whilst supporting her family by working at a potatoe farm. Added ATAR points NOW!
I am a whistleblower. I know and have evidence of John McKechnie’s integrity. I am a whistleblower and have evidence of John Quigley’s lack of integrity and engagement in cover ups. Both know me and I’m prepared to stand, again, for truth in government. #keepMcKechnie
@kirsty_costa Keep doing what #primarySTEMChat does. Share ideas, celebrate innovation, inspire each other and, mostly importantly, check in on others by asking…R U OK?
@kirsty_costa#PrimarySTEMchat We are creating distance learning through home packages as most of our families do not have IT at home, just access to a phone. Families are not realising that education is a system that they play a vital part in.
Hi folks! Great to see you tonight. Please make @kirsty_costa from @ZoosVictoria feel most welcome tonight for #PrimarySTEMChat- also don’t forget to include the hashtag in all your tweets and responses. Have fun & thanks for joining us tonight. #hopeandjoy
@teacherasleader And internet access is from a phone on a data limited plan. Add limited literacy and less digital literacy = postal distance learning. Is that effective? #teacherasleader We just want our school family look after each other!
Schools are moving online, but not all children start out digitally equal
“Only 68% of Australian children aged 5 to 14 living in disadvantaged communities have internet access at home, compared to 91% of students living in advantaged communities.”

@standouted@nicola_ascott Your support in normal times have guided me in being able to provide T’s, S’s, P’s and parents/caregivers with support. I’m now using those skills in normalising normality in a un-normal time #PrimarySTEMchat
@BecWest81@jc_igs Facing the same situation. Doing up home learning grids in preparation for postal distribution. Question is, how can we evidence distance learning without evidence?
Ok my tech peeps I need help!
What help can I give my community that has limited tech & possibly no internet connection?
