You’ld think when this “leader” signed off on the army to shoot at peaceful protesters, they said if you’re kinfolks, you won’t be shot at You’ll think there’s some special benefits this people enjoy just because “same tribe” you know, but not’n whatsoever…so why this stupidity

Tribalism convinced people that they have more in common with a leader from same tribe (with a very different social status) than their neighbors from a different tribe, whom they braved fuel scarcity together, cash scarcity, traffic, trailer accidents, watch football together…

Someone was sponsored to tweet “Lagos is no man’s land” and that’s all that was needed to turn off the brains of supposedly educated people.

What INEC gave us was a selection , not an election . They should have just announced their preferred candidates and not waste everyone’s time and emotion Why waste over 300BN naira for this sham ? I’ll say it , this is the worst election since 1999 and this guy is worse than Iwu.

Small minded idiots went to the poll to vote their oppressors because at least he’s from the “same tribe” as them. It’s always been about power for the elites, tribe (and religion) is how they make sure you people fight each other while they enrich themselves. Eyin oponu oshi

Chances are, if you voted for APC because of the divisive tribalistic conjectures, you’re most likely not doing well in life. And there’s little chance that you’ll be in a better place in the next 4 years because they need your stupidity to keep them in power.

Not surprising that it wasn’t the people staying in vgc that was worried about the “Igbo people taking over lagos”, it was the people in “rural lagos”. Idiots allowed the govt use their fear and jealousy to play them.
Mshelia@InexorableGuy

You won't have time to hate on other people if you're doing well and constantly minding your business The root source of hate, jealousy and envy is the absence of progress and fulfilment Everyone that ever showed these vices to me were people that you know...

Lagos would be in a much better place, if it weren't reduced to the personal fiefdom of a single kleptocrat. There is absolutely nothing that "negotiation" with this individual would accomplish. His hold on power in this city has to be broken.

You aren't going to "transform" Nigeria by "negotiating for power" with kleptocrats - who have a vested interest in leaving the system the way it is. I don't care who tells you this. Many technocrats aligned with the kleptocrats in power, and accomplished very little.

Nigeria has never had a people problem (like we might be forced to think sometimes), we have a leadership problem. Strong institutions are built by strong leadership. Once we get our leadership fixed, everything else will start to fall in place
PO@bigfrank_123

I went to the Nigerian house to renew my passport, I was going to jump the queue because I have a contact. I remembered my principal @PeterObi What will he do if he was in this queue, I stayed in the queue until it was my turn. Leadership is influence!

Keeping quiet is understandable (govt licenses are key to operations and openly disagreeing with “this govt” will definitely affect business). I understand that. However, undermining the stand of millions of Nigerians intl. because of govt access, that’s high wickedness.
