The @ametsoc 25th Student Conference is 1 week away! The AMS Women's Committee hopes to see you at ‘Breaking Through the Clouds: Women Leading in the Atmospheric Sciences’ on Sunday, 25 Jan 2026 from 9:40-10:25 AM CST in Grand Ballroom C of the George R. Brown Convention Center!

This IN-PERSON event is intended for women and underrepresented genders to build community, but all are welcome to attend! Capacity and boxed lunch availability is LIMITED so please arrive early (if possible).

We invite luncheon attendees to wear purple (if possible) to encourage continued connection before and after the event. If you don’t have something purple, that is okay! We appreciate your attendance and encourage you to come as you are in any capacity! 💜
