We have a very special situation and I think this dog is going to get returned to the NYCACC if we don't get immediate help. We adopted out Bella 240835 at the end of February. The adopter has been very patient but this dog cannot get housebroken. In Bella's notes, it said that she was not housebroken. What we all thought which is in most cases, it's the owner who doesn't take the dog out and it's not the dogs fault. This is not the case. This dog refuses to go use the bathroom outside. She will be outside all day, but come in and poops in her crate and will lay down in it. She is DONE. I get it. This is extremely taxing on your patience. She cannot do it any longer. We have two trainers working with her and nothing is working. Has anyone experienced this and what did you do. She has been medically checked out. We are devastated that Bella will be headed back to the NYCACC but she is at her wits end. NO ONE will deal with this.
