History in the making! They may try to criticize, obstruct and tear you down, but we WILL rise! This is a proud moment not just for Black women, but for us all. May we continue to shift the narrative so that the younger generation can see what’s possible!

Today was a proud day for me - creating opportunities for Middle School students to focus on identity, healthy relationships, community building and having fun. It brought me nothing but joy! A special thanks to the students for bringing me hope! @branksomehall

Let’s talk about mental health using culturally safe, culturally responsive, community curated & healing informed resources. Let’s not corporatize mental health & engage in profiteering from generational trauma & circumstances due to colonization & impact of white supremacy.

When I transitioned from the classroom to ed consulting, I quickly realized that, as teachers, we’re so quick to settle & compromise. And this led to an important lesson: You can’t negotiate your worth to folx if you don’t believe you’re worthy of being in the negotiation room.

Energized after co-facilitating workshops for committed educators from an independent school. Deep discussions on systemic oppression and facilitating affinity groups led to vulnerability, reflection & calls to action. I look forward to continued partnership! @talking4_change

Bhai Dooj was extra special this year because I finally got to be with my Bhai. 🥰 More Diwali and Bhai Dooj pooja with the family has been good for my physical and mental health. I couldn’t be more grateful! 🪔

शुभ दीपावली - Happy Diwali! This festival season has been very reflective for me. Lots of time to think and find internal peace. It has also brought great joy and happiness as we have been reunited with Neha & Anupam after 2.5 yrs and celebrated our 1st Diwali with my baby niece!
