Awe-inspiring Annapurna, in Sanskrit, means full of food & is related to fortune. These hard-boiled ice-toped rocks might barely grow a seed but they are source of water feeding rich vegetation down hill. No wonder early people were so wise to call it Annapurna. #Himalayas

🇬🇧 is one of the biggest donors to Covax vaccine facility (£548m). To clarify confused media reporting on vaccine donations: UK support to Nepal is through #COVAX. We are working hard with other development partners to get more of Nepal’s covax allocation in to #Nepal.

Very proud to see @Nepal_PA reintegrating migrant workers in the local economy. Not only by enabling an individual but optimizing their resources to bulid a platform effect that can help multiple local dairy farmers. Always so so proud to see these stories rolling @achyutluitel

Nilkantha once a migrant worker started a family run dairy farm. Now @Nepal_PA with @JerseyOAC funded Dairy project helped his farm to turn as a Resource Centre, where many farmers get info on cattle raising, feed and even buy higher breed calves and follow his footsteps. #dairy
