@Aidan_Regan While I am a total supporter of moving away from dependence on fossile fuel, from a geostrategic point of view, energetic independence has nothing to do do with the environment. The best example of this is the bog in Ireland 🇮🇪 and how people are being made dependent on imports.

This is the first climate war. The context is Europe's dependence on a fossil-fuel exporting authoritarian regime. The only way to stop Putin without military escalation is to stop burning his gas/oil. Political leaders need to start being honest with voters about this.
