The only accused arrested in the lynching of a Muslim woman in Madhubani, Bihar has now been granted bail by a district court, leaving no one behind bars in the case.
The accused, reportedly a social media district coordinator of Janata Dal (United), was the sole arrest among 19 people named in the FIR.
The incident took place over two months ago during Ramadan, when the victim was tied to a pole and brutally beaten by a mob while she was fasting. Her family says that when she asked for water, she was instead forced to drink a mixture of alcohol and urine. She later succumbed to her injuries.
Despite the gravity of the allegations, the case has seen minimal action, raising serious questions about the role of @bihar_police and the state administration in Bihar.

I travelled to Madhubani, Bihar to report on the brutal killing of Roshan Khatoon and what I found is deeply disturbing. On 25 February 2026, during the month of Ramadan, Roshan Khatoon was tied to a pole and mercilessly beaten by more than 20 people, including men and women, while she was fasting, after she went to the village head’s house to resolve a dispute. Her family says that when she asked for water, she was instead forced to drink a mixture of alcohol and urine, an act they describe as deliberate humiliation because she was a Muslim woman. She succumbed to her injuries on 1 March. What followed raises even more serious questions. Instead of immediately ensuring medical care and justice, police allegedly took Roshan Khatoon and her husband to the Police station while she was critically injured and demanded ₹50,000 for their release. The family says they were eventually released after 5–6 hours after paying ₹4,000. Nineteen people have been named in the FIR. Yet, nearly a month later, only one arrest has been made. Her family alleges that the accused are being shielded due to political backing from BJP and JDU leaders. Meanwhile, even after weeks, the postmortem report has still not been released. The govt has created 5 new districts in Ladakh. There are now 7 instead of 2 districts. The govt wants to divide the unified statehood movement of Buddhists and Muslims.
This is another gerrymandering in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir
As per the 2011 Census, Ladakh has 46.40% Muslims and 39.65% Buddhist population out of the total population of 274289.
Out of the 7 districts, 5 are Buddhist majority, only 2 are Muslim. Basically 5 districts for 39.65% population and only 2 districts for 46.40% population

Those who want evidence based proof that Mard-E Mujahid Modi ji is desh and dharma drohi should read my book, "The Girl from Kathua--A Victim of Gharwa-e-Hind". It establishes with irrefutable evidence that in January 2018, an orphan Muslim girl was murdered by her own community members under Mehbooba Mufti's supervision to carry out an ISI plot to facilitate the Demographic Invasion of Jammu Province, especially Hindu majority Kathua district. Kathua borders Pakistan and Paki terrorists cum drug pushers use Kathua villages as a safe haven to reach Kashmir and Muslim majority districts of Jammu province like Rajouri and Poonch to launch their operations. The entire Godi media, as well as foreign funded leftist activists bayed for the blood of innocent Hindu Dogras who were falsely accused of gang rape and murder of the girl in a Hindu sacred shrine dedicated to Baba Kaliveer in Rasana village. There were massive protests by Hindus of Jammu province cutting across party lines. Leading public figures and lawyers alleged that Mufti led govt had hatched a diabolical plot to unleash terror on Hindus. All they demanded was a fair CBI probe . Mehbooba used the fake narrative to crack down on Hindu villages and arrest hundreds of innocent youth in order to force Hindus to abandon Kathua district so that Bangladeshis and Rohingyas can be brought there instead. The Bar Association of Jammu led by a veteran Congressman, and a respected senior advocate B.S. Slathia, went on strike and sat on dharna for days on end demanding a fair CBI probe. Their call for Jammu bandh led to complete shut down of Jammu city with traders associations and other civil society organizations joining the protest call. But CBI comes under PMO and Modi ji harshly snubbed this simple demand. BJP ministers who led protests demanding CBI probe were expelled from the party by PM Modi. The Jammu Bar Association was warned that if they continued protesting, the licenses of protesting lawyers would be cancelled. Mass protests were brutally crushed. Eight innocents, including two teenage boys, were put behind bars and tortured to make false confessions. The case was handed over to a highly corrupt Pathankot district judge, Tejinder Singh, who delivered the most obnoxious judgement. Later the high court at Chandigarh suspened him and recommended his compulsory retirement after finding him guilty of outrageous corrupt practices. The Kathua case is currently in the High Court at Chandigarh. But Kathua district began to witness quiet exodus of young Hindus because they felt they were easy targets, with none to save them and assure them a safe future in Jammu province. Remember, this diabolical plot against Hindus of Kathua district was hatched when PDP-BJP were coalition partners. And Mard-E-Mujahid's PMO played an active part in crushing Hindu protests and snubbed their appeal for justice. Indira Jaising, the queen bee of foreign funded activists, led the leftist brigade in demonizing innocent Hindus and ensuring that the Islamist agenda was implemented with full zeal by Modi ji's active collaboration. The Wheel of Karma took care of Mehbooba Mufti. But PM Modi has yet to face the consequences. The #KathuaKand and Modi's role in promoting gen0zidal Vaccines of Billy Darwaza convinced me that this man is dangerous beyond cure! All his pious nautankis are a cover up for the satanic agendas he is implementing at the behest of those who installed him in power. In several videos I have listed examples of Modi ji's Unforgiveable Crimes --अक्षम्य अपराध। Another old video entitled : मोदी से मोहभंग क्यूँ? describes the process of discovering the real self of Modi behind the saintly facade. I pray for strength to die fighting, rather than yield before this tyrant.

Many years ago Modi ji had unleashed the power of Gujarat govt's state machinery to make sure that a young woman named Mansi Soni does not escape his clutches. Today, Mard-e-Mujahid has unleashed the coercive power of the Indian state, lakhs of pornified trolls and presstitutes to defame and hound a 75 year old Madhu Kishwar. He is making the police act lawlessly to frame me in false charges. And he expects the courts to obey his dictates. This when I am only speaking the truth about the all-round harm he is doing to our desh and dharma. A lone woman Vs PM Modi's deployment of all the agencies of the Indian state as well as media.
