An invader terrorist serving a life sentence for knifing a pensioner to death has appeared in court accused of trying to murder a prison imam.
Moroccan Ahmed Ali Alid, 47, tried to kill Roderic Vassie at HMP Full Sutton in Yorkshire on 8 August last year, it is alleged.
Alid was given 45 years after he stabbed 70-year-old Terrence Carney to death in Hartlepool as he went for a walk.
