My mum raised me on benefits about £500 a month ish
Honestly, my childhood wasn’t even that bad.
I had breakfast, lunch & dinner every day, decent clothing and my own bed.
Relatively to some kids in this world, I had all the luxuries in life

@domdyer70 Unfortunately though, some people raised in certain cultures particularly Islam, do not want to integrate and insist on trying to change our culture, so it’s difficult to feel genuinely welcoming towards them, particularly as so many on the boats are young men.

@kingofSomaliaa Ina lilahi waa ina ilahay rajucun. Everything happens by qadr Allah. But this situation def needs investigation. It’s very against law and absolutely big crime to remove patient’s organs without any patient or a family consent. Also we need to know if he was an organ donor.

Where is the Somali and mainstream media in all of this?
When a Somali mother arrived at the hospital, she discovered her son had died, and his organs had been removed in America!
The only person I have seen standing with this poor mother is Dabacasar.

@_flayss @foreverrra If you memorise surah , you need to read every day so you cannot forget. Muhafidiinul quran read the Quran everyday. I mean few juz a day. Or you just listen the qari and read with them.

1. Band 5 job.
2. Published 2 articles.
3. Shortlisted as Mind Trustee.
4. Successful for MSc.
5. Guest lecturer.
6. Shortlisted for Associate Lecturer (Band 6).

This Eid I’m reflecting on my handsome 14 years old son Ilyas and how I am his only parent to wish him Eid Mubarak every year and buy him Eid gifts. But this year it feels different because where I don’t feel sorry but instead feel so happy on how he turned into fine young man ❤️

I have come to terms that I won't become a registered mental health nurse but that's ok because I am a proud registered Nursing Associate who soon will be going back to working in the community where my heart belongs. Strange, exciting but also good because I like a challenge ✨

One week into Ramadan alhamdullilah.I'm going detox as I promised I said I would. Tomorrow is my 1st interview of many coming up. Made some great connections meeting with inspirational people since my viral tweet. In a few weeks time I'll receive my NMC pin. Everything is good 💙
