They hurt you? It’s your fault. You’ll never hear a genuine apology and even trying is just going to make them run away lol These are people who are emotionally stunted. Genuinely the emotional complexity of a toddler and they simply can’t be helped or blamed for that

Whether it’s someone with borderline personality disorder, or a flat out narcissist… One of the worst things you can do is try to accommodate their disposition. You can understand it, but the moment you start playing by the rules of their maladapted personality. You’re agree to be subjected to bullshit

My genuine conclusion is you shouldn’t befriend chronically unhappy people lol It sounds horrible but it’s for your own good. The road to hell is paved in good intentions. 😔

To protect their already battered ego, they have to invent narratives that explain this predicament without having to turn inward towards a self they’ve been taught to hate

The same people as adults walk around with a chip on their shoulders, thinking they’re better than everyone, smarter than everyone… No accountability for people’s aversion for them or why all of their interpersonal relationships inevitably crumble

These are the broken, the misunderstood, usually the black sheep of their family or group. You can feel sorry for them, but be careful. Sometimes the truth is they’ve ostracized themselves or what they’ve experienced has become a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy.

I kinda hate that I gravitate towards these types of personalities lol I’m almost sympathetic to them

You can’t resolve anything with a person who lacks empathy for everyone but themselves. They simply don’t care. In their world everything is justified , the perpetual victim in every scenario,
