Am I correct in my understanding that VAR can only check for offside if it’s a goal ? So VAR should not have checked for sima being offside? And going on Clements post match they only checked for offside LATER after they had already made the decision? Have I picked that up right? Thats mental

@_KyleMiddleton @MsVC79 @Threeli00295815 @Abbott__ @Amato861 @ScotlandSky Suspect thats probably a communication issue between broadcaster and those providing them the details on VAR. Ultimately looks like they got to the right decision - be interesting to hear the audio between referees I guess.

SSN understands Rangers will ask the Scottish FA for VAR audio after no penalty was awarded following this incident.
