Former Utah State Rep Jason Chaffetz @jasoninthehouse addressed the heightened security at the @TPUSA event at Utah State University. He also says it’s an honor to be a speaker at the event. Chaffetz was with family at UVU watching Charlie Kirk speak when the shooting occurred.

UPDATE: "A device was located and deemed to be a non-explosive device. Out of an abundance of caution, the bomb squad detonated the suspicious device. Old Main building is now clear and safe. All scheduled events may resume as normal," according to Utah State University.

According to a Utah State University Spokeswoman, a university employee called the suspicious package in out of an abundance of caution.

3/4 Robinson's attorneys will then review the discovery and Robinson will ultimately decide whether he will waive his right to a preliminary hearing. If it does proceed to a preliminary hearing, the prosecution must show judge there is enough evidence to establish probably cause.

1/4 Kathryn Nester, the lead attorney representing Charlie Kirk's alleged killer Tyler Robinson just confirmed with me that this week she will request the discovery that prosecutors used to file charges against Tyler Robinson.

Kathryn Nester, the lead attorney representing Charlie Kirk's alleged killer Tyler Robinson told the Provo judge overseeing this case that she intends to have Robinson attend his next court proceeding in-person on October 30.

I’m told Robinson will be able to see the courtroom from his screen and that his audio will be available.

This is according to Utah State Courts Director of Security J. Chris Palmer. Robinson’s defense counsel is expected to appear in person.

Just participated in the Jazz’s annual Media Training Camp. Folks, I can tell you that new assistant coach Steve Wojciechowski is a big hustle guy. He made a drill to get media to dive on the floor for loose balls + take charges. He also made us run if we walked to our drills.
