15 HOURS on M101… “I wanted to share an updated version of my M101 image. For this version, I travelled to Àger, one of the best dark-sky locations in Catalonia, and captured additional data there. The final image now combines 15 hours of integration (13 hours from Àger and 2 hours from Observatori de Pujalt, Bortle 4 skies). The Seestar is also capable of capturing several other galaxies across the field, including distant background galaxies such as NGC 5422, located around 100 million light-years away. The Seestar S30 Pro continues to impress me — what this small instrument can achieve under good skies and with enough integration time is truly remarkable.
