@bdfalla @FearTheTriangle Gentle ribbing is fine. At Mullins, it's a lot worse than nearly anywhere else. We were being harrassed one game and I went to security (only time I have ever done so) and they told me it was my own fault for wearing a Lowell jersey and they couldn't help me.

I just had a UMass fan resurrect a Twitter beef from 2 years ago to post a picture of UMass winning the title. Aside from a couple of good ones (looking at you @FearTheTriangle ) most of that fanbase is going to be an even bigger bunch of insufferable assholes now.

@bdfalla @FearTheTriangle I know there are good ones, but this person watched his team win a title, and his 1st thought was to bring up a disagreement from 2 freaking years ago to taunt a fan of his rival. Sadly, this is typical of the treatment I get during my numerous visits to the Mullins Center.

Jokes aside, both these programs have usually been behind many others in their state and have fanbases shaped by this identity that have never been to the mountain top. Regardless of who wins I'll be happy for the joy that many long suffering fans will get to experience tonight.

But when you don’t properly hammer Wilson, you set the precedent that the Principal isn’t interested in major suspensions or expulsions, which really are the only attention-grabbers in play.
