“Not a single war objective has been met” FBF keeps saying this even though its plainly false. Heres a list of stated war objectives, nearly all of which have been fulfilled. Doesnt matter. FBF will block me now for pointing out his obvious lie. x.com/RapidResponse4…
Niccolo Soldo (Fisted By Foucault)@FistedFoucault

Pretty much everything that comes out of Trump's mouth regarding Iran is a lie. And not a single American war objective is close to being achieved.

@aqualover420 @Innovocaine How is blocking their ports not "pressing the advantage?" Trump has been working to neutralize Iran since his first term, he does want the regime gone but wants the people of Iran to do it. Given all that, what would we be doing other than trying to negotiate with them?

@beh2jam @Innovocaine And we're aggressively pursuing peace negotiations rather than pressing the "advantage" you're touting here that Iran has no answer to because...?

Better bad deal than I thought we'd get. Counter blockade really was a deceptively great idea. Minor Iranian victory, minor American defeat, and crazily enough sanction relief might buoy global economy enough to benefit GOP electoral chances.

SCOOP: The White House believes it's getting close to an agreement with Iran on a one-page memorandum of understanding to end the war and set a framework for more detailed nuclear negotiations. My story on @axios axios.com/2026/05/06/ira…

Lol Trump has completely shifted the goalposts on them. Basically, stop everything you have done since the ceasefire and we’ll open the strait. For those who cant read between lines, this is a complicated way of Iran admitting total surrender
zerohedge@zerohedge

Iran’s mission to the UN said that “the only viable solution in the Strait of Hormuz is clear: a permanent end to the war, the lifting of the maritime blockade, and the restoration of normal passage.” - WSJ

@aqualover420 @Innovocaine It was paused for the benefit of negotiations. We're still blocking their ports, which gives them a ticking clock. Closing the strait has been much worse for Iran then anywhere else. The US has time to wait for a profitable agreement, Iran doesn't.

@beh2jam @Innovocaine “A puppet” lol a puppet of whom, exactly? Also their “minimal leverage” sure got us to cancel operation freedom rather abruptly I wonder what that’s all about

@Innovocaine @aqualover420 Iran's a mess the US has needed to clean up for 40 yrs but I think history has proven going in wiping out the regime and installing another one will lead to the same issues we've had throughout the 21st century Trump has done all he realistically can to improve the situation

@aqualover420 @beh2jam Short term is exceptionally simple and not a single soul on this site seemingly has it figured out. Say it with me. Iran cannot have a nuke. Iran needs to have their military severely reduced. Iran needs to have their navy destroyed. These have been the conditions since day 1.

@Innovocaine @aqualover420 The US is a net exporter of oil and, especially with the Venezuela operation, we've weathered this all much better than Europe and Asia.

@aqualover420 @beh2jam >they can crash the global economy We can crash it too. Tariffs are seen by many as doing exactly that. Iran doesnt have as much leverage as they think they have, because “crashing the global economy” while painful, has the silver lining of benefitting America first.

@aqualover420 @Innovocaine Iran would kill itself long before crashing the global economy. It can cause a recession and has caused the largest oil supply disruption in modern history, to Iran & its allies detriment. Iran would face too much internal strife/pressure from allies to maintain it long term.

@aqualover420 @Innovocaine The IRGC. We haven't even seen Mojtaba since he's been appointed, we don't even know if he's alive. Whereas his father had 3 decades of political power and dominance over the gov, the most you can say about Mojtaba is that he's rubberstamping whatever the generals propose.

@aqualover420 @Innovocaine How can they sustain through a US blockade of their ports - even for another month - and offer any meaningful resistance to the US navy? They're already in severe crisis, the US can afford to sit their for the rest of the year, Iran can't.

@aqualover420 @Innovocaine They lost their supreme leader of the last 37 years & replaced him with a puppet. They have a severe economic crisis, major damage to infrastructure and their navy is gone Iran's minimal leverage is evaporating fast & they have no way to counter the the US Navy

@Innovocaine lol the regime is more entrenched than ever and they've proven that they have an extremely effective method of leverage through the strait that the US can't really counter. Now they'll have a ton of money to rebuild through sanction relief. It is what it is.

Where’s that list of 20 Epstein clients that Thomas Massie said he had and would read on the House floor? It’s been months. Why is Thomas Massie protecting pedophiles?
