just found out i got blocked by another big acc that support both :3
when i first started being vocal about being OT6, i already knew some ppl would find it uncomfortable, esp the ones interacting with me previously when i was advocating for 6+1. but i didn't regret anything at all. ig a long time ago, i kinda knew that supporting both wasn't going to be sustainable. deep down, the idea of ditching the group and leaving the group in shambles never sat right with me. but i didn't want to be the bad guy, so i held onto the past until the present destroyed me.
in reality, OT6 stans accepted his wish to leave quickly, and unless a person was a closeted HS anti in the first place, most ppl were okay with letting him go without making a fuss. many of us here have been kpop stans for years, so while it was unpleasant, it wasn't sth that we couldn't overcome. however, no one has really ever tried to understand where OT6 stans came from. they way i see it, OT7 stans / OT6+1 stans can turn a blind eye, or make light of what other boycotters and #his solo stans have been doing to sabotage enha, but simultaneously will treat OT6 stans with much greater hostility.
when one labels themselves as a solo stan, people don't bat an eye when they behave exactly the way they present themselves as. but an average OT6 stan isn't given as much grace and understanding. you are expected to perform - to be the bigger person (cuz boycotters are literal children and solo stans are solo stans), not to get petty or attempt any 'erasure'. at first, it wasn't too bad; but as Blood Saga was approaching, there was a big shift. i didn't see any meaning in tolerating the disrespect, and i got a change of heart. i freed myself from the expectations and haven't been happier. at the end of the day, enhypen's legacy carried on by the 6 members is more important to me than anything else.
i don't wish #him harm. i don't hold whatever his solo stans have been doing to other members prior to his departure against him. but i can't bring myself to think of him with as much consideration as when he was in the group. saying idols shouldn't be judged based on their fans' behavior is an out of touch observation. not to mention that in this case, his actions also disappointed me, so looking back, some perceptions about him also changed accordingly. so i guess that's it. he is no more than someone i used to know, and whoever dares to ruin enhypen by using him, i won't hesitate to retaliate.
so guys, grow a pair. don't be afraid to talk back. compared to 2 months ago, this is already progress. but also don't forget to enjoy enhypen's content. maybe this is what is meant to be, so embrace it.
