Many people don’t know that my grandmother is Puerto Rican and in her kitchen was where I fell in love with cooking for the first time. Now 30 years later, here I am making Sanconcho at my old school for Worlds of Flavor. 🙏🏾

It's been the highlight of my year planning for #WorldsOfFlavor2022 with the brilliant folks at the @CIACulinary #StrategicInitiativesGroup. I'm so proud of the hard work everyone has put in that culminates next week @CIAatCopia, where the wine food and culture will be flowing.

What are the signs (non housing-related) that a community is gentrifying? I will start: the sudden proliferation of breweries and artisanal businesses selling anything fermented.
