It has just been recommended to both women and men to cover. Note:Facial covering is not mandatory.That's cultural.

@_Fulaan @Zaahraa_Nm And at the end of the day, the point is in having the same rights. Both men and women in Europe are expected to cover their private parts. Otherwise both would get the police called on them. It’s not: rules for me, but not for thee, like you live by.

@_Fulaan @Zaahraa_Nm Imagine sitting anywhere, a bus or a bench - you would immediately get a UTI. And neither do we want to expose people to the fluids coming out of our genitals. That’s just common decency.

@_Fulaan @Zaahraa_Nm However, that social construct is not completely baseless. Genitals are in fact used for sex, they can carry diseases, they can easily get infected when exposed to bacteria. Even if it was totally socially acceptable, I don’t think most women would want to go around naked.

@_Fulaan @Zaahraa_Nm Yup,that same logic applies, genitals being immoral to expose and look at is, in principle, a social construct. There are many tribes where people walk around naked. No one’s calling anyone a slut for it or looking down on them.
