@_EllieNuck_ @Canuck_Faithful IMO EP40 doesn’t have that internal drive and despite to excel. I don’t believe he actually LOVES playing hockey…I believe it’s a job for him to make the money he does and he it won’t build his character because it’s just a job

@brascovan @_EllieNuck_ The Canucks owner who needs some good PR needs to fix this. It's such a simple call but I doubt he does because they are such a tone deaf ownership group. Cut a cheque and play a preseason game up there. It's not hard

Perhaps what he should have said is that KraftHockeyville could have named Taber the winner because they - you know - actually won, but also funded Tumbler Ridge as well

Bruce Cassidy seems destined to go to a contender that loses early in the playoffs, not the 32nd placed #Canucks He makes $4.5 million a season, so VAN would have to overpay him to come here. Foote is reportedly making $1.5M a season. Doubt the owner wants to spend that much.

@Vandecision There has to be a response when your captain…the USA team captain…your best player….is felled by an incredibly dirty play. No different than coming to the defense of your friend if he gets jumped or your family if they are verbally abused. To do nothing is not acceptable.

NHL DoPS head George Parros responding to Connor McDavid's call for an examination of the suspension process: “We sweat over these decisions and pour over these decisions every night, all season long. We have a process in place that’s consistent, and we have a team that works for me, and together with me, that evaluates all these plays. A very experienced team, a veteran team. Guys that have been there since the beginning of the department. Not to mention all the former players that have a large set of experiences playing NHL games, accolades. Some of the best guys that have played the game work for this department help make decisions. So, our process, I feel very confident in. We’ve got great guys who make these decisions, and I think the players should be confident in this team to do so.”
