Didn't get these up yesterday, and no, last night didn't change anything. My 2025-26 Season Predictions: Awards: MVP: SGA DPOY: Wemby ROY: Flagg MIP: Mathurin 6MOY: John Collins COY: Mike Brown Couldn't convince myself of non-chalk. I think Luka leads the league in scoring.

Only two rookies in Spurs franchise history to have 5 threes, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in a single game: Victor Wembanyama (2023-24) CARTER BRYANT (tonight)

Awful coaching and execution down the stretch from the Spurs. When people question their playoff chops, they'll use this game as the example. Still have OT to pull it out, but should never have gotten to this point.

This is the coaching question for the playoffs. Why have Champagnie out there instead of Bryant? You need 1 stop. Get your best defenders out there.

Too many 3s from the Spurs offense. Need to figure out how to attack the paint and finish.

24 total fouls and 30 free throws in the first half. We are on track for a longggg game if this keeps up.

Holy ref show. Both teams getting abused by this crew. Exactly what the NBA wants to see on a prime afternoon game.

A Spurs record for Julian Champagnie? Julian is on the verge of breaking Danny Green's team record (191, 2014-15) for threes in a season. He's currently at 185 with six games left in the season. Shouts to Julian who has embraced his role and excels at playing off of the gravity of Wemby and Fox and knocking down shots. 200 threes in a season is a cool accomplishment for any shooter, let alone an undrafted player. Love to see a guy persevere, find a role, and earn a long-term place in the league!

@Matthew_Tynan The first 3 names that came to mind were Dirk, KG, and Amare. Kobe is in the "never was and never will be" category.

I can think of a couple players who could probably do this if used like Jokic. He leads the league in touches per game with 100.6 and passes per game with 73.4. He also happens to be 6'11 280ish lbs, so rebounds are a bit easier. Steph in 2015 averaged 23.8, which is the only sub-25 average since Dirk in 07. And 3 of the last 7 MVP winners are Jokic. Giannis and Embiid are the other players he tops in steals. And for what it's worth... Luka: 87.6 touches & 53.2 passes SGA: 67.2 touches & 38.7 passes Wemby: 58.4 touches & 34.1 passes

@Squirrely_Wrath @JustinTinsley For sure. Without looking it up, I knew there were big games from Mario Elie, Steve Kerr, Stephen Jackson, Robert Horry, and Danny Green. I had to look at 07 and saw Michael Finley went 8/9 in game 5 vs the Nuggets.

Ever since I first saw it mentioned, I think about @JustinTinsley and the 2-1-1 theory when it comes to the playoffs. 2 wins from best player (Wemby) 1 win from your 2nd best (Fox/Castle) 1 win from a role player (Harper/Vassell/Champagnie/etc)
Wemby is the MVP@Squirrely_Wrath

I’m calling it right now Dylan is gonna win us a series. Wemby will get his but when the others look like they’re only carrying their own weight, Dylan will come out like kawhi in 2014

The smoothness of how crafty Dylan Harper is can't be overstated. He utilizes his handle in space so well. Then explodes.
