As the governor who created @JobsOhio, I was extremely disappointed by the sponsored podcast, which struck me as a misguided and weak attempt to deal with workforce issues, particularly those involving our veterans. What concerns me most is the possibility of mission drift. JobsOhio was created for one purpose and one purpose only: to create jobs for Ohio. I fully understand the importance of building a strong workforce, but this was clearly a failed attempt. I hope and pray there are no other signs of JobsOhio drifting from its original mission. It must remain singularly focused on creating jobs for Ohio and on watching every nickel of the money that flows into the organization.

Senator John Kennedy introduced a Resolution to withhold senators pay during a shutdown He says it came out of the Rules Committee unanimously, it’s very popular and Senators will vote for it He says the problem is Leader John Thune won’t bring it for a vote “I've chased John like he stole Thanksgiving to try to get him to do it, but so far he hadn't agreed. But I, I'll keep pounding him” The problem in the GOP Senate is clearly John Thune. He’s definitely paid off
HOLY CRAP! James Comer said that Democrats didn't ask a SINGLE SUBSTANTIATIVE QUESTION to Pam Bondi or any of the DOJ officials who appeared for the briefing. "They did not ask any questions... does it LOOK like there's a cover up?" The political charade is crumbling and they can't slow it down.

Pam Bondi is holding a “briefing” with the Oversight Committee. I believe she’s doing this to evade her subpoena. It’s structured exactly like a hearing except she’s NOT under oath & there’s no transcription or video. We just walked out. We’ll see her at her sworn deposition.
