@cfcbecker That's not my point? I'm saying that Chelsea signed the best striker from Strasbourg and Panichelli is replacement BlueCo got for him at the Ligue1 club.
There was no way Chelsea could have signed him, so the 'Chelsea got the wrong striker' talks is nonsense.

Do people realise that this is Joaquín Panichelli's first big season leading the attack in top flight?
Also, Chelsea didn't sing the wrong Strasbourg striker in September, Panichelli joined them THIS summer and was just starting to show his potential.
Long way to go for him, and hopefully he continues to maintain this level and doesn't fade away like Michu, Bony, Dost etc.
Seeing so many of these "Chelsea signed the wrong striker from Strasbourg" posts and none of them make sense.

Chelsea has actually signed the wrong Strasbourg striker. Joaquín Panichelli looks more like the kind of CF Chelsea need, rather than Emegha. Very dominant in the box — strong in the air, has the pace/power, strong back to goal play... Imo, the better fit for Chelsea.

Please give Gittens time, if he was from the academy I’m sure he’d be afforded it but the price tag isn’t his fault, he’s extremely raw rn

On Gittens, I don’t know what the price will be (hopefully add on heavy) but please give the boy time He has some brilliant raw qualities but I’m not expecting him to hit the ground running right away, let him develop & hit his potential as I think it’s sky high
