@DeborahMeaden @DeborahMeaden Do you know whether Red Tractor is a trusted accreditation? I try to buy as ethically as I can because animal welfare is the most important factor to me but I'm sure I was told that the Red Tractor mark doesn't guarantee that and it was the weakest indicator?

Except Aldi sources its chickens from British red tractor approved farms…

Confession of an ex-animal eater: We didn’t choose to eat meat—we were raised on it. We were conditioned. If you’d grown up with plant-based patties, the idea of eating animal flesh would likely disgust you, or at least you’d say, “It doesn’t taste right.” Eating animals is just a habit, and taste is acquired. We can break that habit and enjoy food that’s both delicious and healthier. That’s why I went vegan 13 years ago. Best decision of my life. If I could do it, anyone can. Please, go vegan. Every second, thousands of sentient beings—animals just like our beloved cats and dogs—are killed after a lifetime of suffering. And we look away. Wake up, my friend.
