Google Maps is such an untapped data source. I have a full SOP on how I build and scrape my google maps lists that I filmed for my internal hires. Like + Comment "maps" and I'll DM you the full SOP - just give me good feedback.

@eduschesne1 We have 2 of these BID's out - what else besides price helps close these?

Most residential cleaners are leaving tens of thousands on the table If you're not doing post-construction condo cleans, you're missing out - Same equipment - Simple quoting ( Once you know how to ) - Less competition - Much higher ticket Today, someone booked a call with me to price a 124-unit job. We landed on a quote of $52,000 For some residential cleaning business, that’s 25% of the annual revenue — From one job... done in just one month...

@cleankckingdom Just remembered, the one thing we did differently this time was to list the pay as weekly earnings instead of hourly. Just used the range we see our cleaners making. Not sure if it made a difference but the idea was that it was more quantifiable.

Who is making Airbnb Cleaning work at scale? I have never been able to make the revenue that justifies the challenge but open to figuring it out just don't know what I'm doing wrong.

@ben_2446 I have a lot of online bookings that either try to reduce the price or are the worst clients do you screen them?

Online bookings are cranking now! We get 1 or 2 everyday. Usually they are way higher ticket than the ones we book over the phone. $400 is usually the minimum price of these cleans 🙌

@DanKats23 The customer was the sister of a long term client and first mentioned the clean wasn't good and second that the woman tried to take business. Thankfully it was the first time and I had like 4 cleaners out but still stings.

Had my first cleaner leave a card for her business asking for them to use her. Took awhile for that to happen but still maddening.

My realtor cold text campaign is crushing. (Probably because I’m a realtor and get a ton of vendor calls/texts) In 1 week we have booked 6 move out/in cleans. Dm if you want it, and I’ll tell you how to scrape all the agent info

I’ve been thinking about adding a ‘small gift’ for my new customers - Candle - company branded dustpan - shower / bath bomb The real question is whether this gift will make a difference in customer reviews / satisfaction. If I’ve been delivering a quality service, will this really bring it to another level? Or just another cost of goods?

Had a successful 400$ cleaning today with a new client who ended up wanting another clean in about 30-60 days and referred us to her next door neighbor. We bring every new client a Yankee candle with a thank you card and our business cards attached inside as soon as our cleaners walk in the door. I feel like this small gift on our part definitely played a part in the positive remarks on us by the customer today. It's about providing value where the customer doesn't expect it.

@Paul0Montenegro It’s important to consider type of lead source when tracking I just started breaking down close rate by type of leads. From highest to lowest close rate, mine goes: Inbound callers > Website leads > Paid FB Leads

Closing rates in the service business space is an interesting topic. Some don’t track it, others claim to close every estimate, and some inflate their numbers by offering discounts. This is what the data shows 👇 Industry average: 20-30% Top-performing sales reps: 40%+ Small owner-operators: 50-70% (referrals, repeat clients). On average, for every 10 estimates, 7-8 homeowners are going with someone else (this sounds insane, but it's true). We all have different numbers, but if you can close 4 or more out of 10, you’re golden.

A client call for a same day move in clean. They agreed on the price $500 and then after the clean called to say only 1 cleaner arrived and they missed the basement because of the movers and that they want to pay $350. We settled on $425. I'm still furious. What would you do?
