@TechellaTea Perfect movie adaptation for me, loved the book as well. Booked Priya IMAX morning show for yesterday, decent audience as well. They toned down the science in the movie and perfectly captured the relationship b/w Grace and Rocky.

Project Hail Mary - IMAX tickets were not available, the movie is going housefull... Had to choose 4DX ... I experienced the movie with window boxing, moving chairs, hawa ka jhonka and lighting effects. Watch it in theatre for the cinematic experience... Movie is more about emotions rather than science terminologies (but wo bhi hai beech beech me). Rocky is the most loved alien character. Hindi dub was cool too. During the film, five to six individuals left the theater, indicating that these movies may not appeal to a general audience but are rather tailored for enthusiasts.

#ProjectHailMary review - 10/10 In a world weighed down by strife and sadness, comes a film brimming with hope and optimism. The adaption of Andy Weir's work tries to stay true to the source material but it dials down the science and amps up the emotional quotient to max. It's mainstream Hollywood after all. But, if you ask me (who only recently completed the book), it works and how. I laughed. The theater laughed. I cried. The theater cried. I aww-ed. The theater aww-ed. #PHM is definitely no Interstellar but comparing the two is like comparing existential to wholesome. - Ryan Gosling is such a fine artist. I predict an Oscar nomination. - Sandra Huller pulls at your heart strings even when she sings off-key. - The music and the placement, such a deft touch. - And, finally, the breathtaking visuals! In certain scenes, I had to lift my jaw off of the floor. The movie visualised the book way better than my brain ever could. Go, find your nearest IMAX and watch Rocky and Ryland ki Prem Kahaani right away. You won't regret it. P.S. read the book later if you want answers to certain questions and to fill in the gaps.

The good thing about releasing tickets last moment for Project Hail Mary was: Cinephiles went & booked them instantly. So not one soul talking in the theatre. No one picking out phones. Genuine people watching cinema Zero Mannerless people

The fact that we have turn our brightness up to view a still is what is wrong with cinema lighting nowadays. Any of those motivated lights could have lit his face SLIGHTLY better than this.

@josephradhik Isn't this just a screenshot from the trailer? Most probably this is the scene where Harry goes to the restricted section, so it's bound to be dark.

@cholentfarts @HogLegNews That’s an interesting assumption to make, I usually like to wait to see the finished product before making claims. I, for one, am excited to see what direction this actor takes the role. It’s Art. I have no idea if it will work or not. Will give the man a chance at least.

My take on the HBO teaser: Love: -Dominic as Harry -the kids can act -Dursleys esp. Petunia -Snape, McGonagall and Dumbledore -Costumes -Sets -Camerawork Like: -Hagrid (need to hear more) Dislike: -New logo being flat -Broomsticks -Grading (WW needs more colour)

@dvrnjn17 @Preetam_M_Rao It's not the first time non filmed for or on IMAX movie is running in IMAX theatres, they are running a business and have figured out a compromise on both sides, if the fans keep PHM shows booked out, obviously shows will increase with chances of more shows as it's just 2.5 hrs.

I really love the current Google Pixel line of products. I don't know, there's just something so fun about the hardware and software. I think Material 3 Expressive is my favorite UX design language out there right now. Apple/Microsoft hw/sw design feel so clinical/safe/mechanical in comparison. I can't explain it.

HBO has planned seven seasons, one for each book, eight episodes per season. That’s 56 episodes. If the per-episode budget holds, the total production cost lands around $5.6 billion.
