@theisraataha I was job hunting when my kid was just starting school, and asked about whether flexible hours were available for a tech lead position. I was told that maybe the tech lead role was "too full on" and I should look for something "more suitable" 🙃

Story time: I was a team lead, got pregnant with my 1st, my (female) manager told my (male) coworker that he will likely be team lead even after I came back from mat leave "because I probably wouldn't be able to do my job as well after having kids" 🙃🙃

I have implemented tighter security on my phone and changed passwords and made sure everything, including my texts, are locked if he tries to invade my phone. This is getting serious and it’s such a weird feeling to be treating my husband like my captor.

I was so convinced that today’s landlord visit would cause my husband to go ballistic that I packed a suitcase to get ready to run away if he lost it. I’m so relieved he didn’t get angry that I’m basically euphoric now. I can keep working on my plan at my own pace.

Crazy how Fraud systems at companies block valid users - and these users silently churn thanks to full customer support disconnect. Have Lyft a try for the first time today. Got blocked on the second ride (fraud signals surely - roaming number etc). Customer support response:
