It’s happening. An impactful presentation by Dr. Guy-Loup Dulière and Dr. Turgay Tuna highlighted the ongoing challenge of look-alike medications and the near misses that continue to occur in perioperative care. These are the moments that matter. Because in the OR, safety doesn’t come from memory—it comes from systems designed to support clinicians in real time. Nine long-tenured employees marked 143 combined years of dedication, innovation, and teamwork. Each received their cash anniversary gift…and then immediately lined up for Bob Evans’ finest: sliced turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, veggies, rolls, cranberry sauce, and both apple and pumpkin pie. The buffet line was packed, the plates were overflowing, and the conversations were the kind you only get when people truly enjoy working together.
