Fly the flag. Gather your people. Fire up the grill. Teach your kids about freedom. Thank a veteran. Stay for the fireworks.
This isn't just another holiday.
I'm with y'all in spirit & in my heart.
Happy Birthday America 🇺🇲💋
As you begin this new day, make one decision: trust God more than you trust your fears.
Fear will always try to convince you that you’re alone, that the future is uncertain, and that you have to carry every burden by yourself. But God’s Word tells a different story. He has never left His children to fight life’s battles alone.
“Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to You I pray. In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly.” — Psalm 5:2–3
What a beautiful reminder that before we face the world, we can first bring everything to the One who already knows what the day holds. God isn’t asking you to have all the answers. He’s asking you to bring Him your heart and trust Him with what you cannot control.
“Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in Him.” — Psalm 32:10
Did you catch that? God’s unfailing love surrounds those who trust Him. No matter what you’re walking through today, His love is surrounding you, protecting you, strengthening you, and carrying you when you feel weak. Fear may surround your thoughts, but God’s love surrounds your life.
And one of the greatest promises in Scripture is found here:
“The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.” — Deuteronomy 33:27
When you feel like you’re falling apart, remember this: you are never falling beyond God’s reach. His everlasting arms are underneath you, holding you up when your own strength is gone. He is your refuge, your protector, and your safe place.
So today, choose faith over fear.
Pray before you panic.
Trust before you understand.
Rest before you worry.
God has already gone before you. He is walking beside you. And His everlasting arms are holding you every step of the way.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, today I choose to trust You instead of my fears. I lay every worry, every burden, and every unanswered question at Your feet. Thank You for hearing my prayers, surrounding me with Your unfailing love, and holding me in Your everlasting arms. Help me to walk by faith, not by sight, knowing that You are my refuge and my strength. I will not fear, because You are with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
