On Juneteenth, we commemorate the anniversary of the delayed but welcome news of freedom reaching the enslaved Black folks in Galveston, Texas. It’s a reminder that even in the darkest hours, there is cause to hope — and a reason to keep building a country that lives up to its highest ideals.

Back at it again today with @MrsRainwaters! We took our knowledge of tableau and showed what we know about food chains and how energy is transferred from the sun to other organisms! ☀️ @CPSScience @cpsfinearts @RUSBLVD

We learned a lot on our visit to @ColumbiaUrbanAg. We saw animals, discovered what the foods we eat look like as they are growing and many of us tried some new foods.
