@DeepknowledgeU The llvm social Bangalore meetup (the one I run) has 3300+ people. The @compiler_tech conference has an average of 350+ attendees every year. Last year I organised a compiler themed hackathon (segfault.compilertech.org) which had over 100 attendees. Lots of compiler stuff in BLR
