I love sharing info about protests online. It makes me feel cool and in-the-know and like I'm authentically connected to the movement and it lets everyone else know that I'm a real organiser. It rules! I don't ever check whether it's true half the time, I just put it out there.

@BengaliTigger Respectfully, no. The far right intent is to mobilise local racists who aren't in their Telegram groups as they have elsewhere. In Walthamstow for example it was perfectly possible to call a counter protest to meet at McDonald's on the street where the target is without naming it

So let me try to understand this correctly. A far right Telegram group published a list of immigration lawyers and centres for its supporters to target. Nobody knows how much of this is probable, bravado or disinformation but the threat exists and countering it is essential.

And if anyone points out why this all might have been careless and irresponsible, they are accused of being insufficiently anti-fascist. I feel like I'm losing my mind.

One frustration I have with the #spycops inquiry is a tendency to pin everything "violent" on Anti-Fascist Action at a time when the far right were a genuine physical threat to black communities. So for the record:

I became a member of @SEPicturehouse in 1998. It's where I held my 50th birthday celebration. I suspected the writing was on the wall last year when they shut the bar and it never opened but today I saw the cinema is closing on 28 July
